As a former corp mate of Stew's and someone who was scammed by him (one of the orignal scammees - back in the Eagles of Freedom), all I can tell you is to dust yourself off, assess your situation, and get on with playing the game.
Vengeance is fun, only if it's part of the game. If you want angry revenge because your RL ego has been hurt, well, you have lost the whole point of the game.
I was scammed by Stew, and then, months later, he formed a hi-sec merc corp and grief dec'ed my corp (my other toon was in the corp at the time, Ephraim Faide), and continued on for several weeks (increasing ransom along the way).
At the time, I raged and was very angry with stew, but after the war dec was over I have come to realize that stew is what makes the game soooo good - lots of intrigue, excitement and conspiracy and in-game revenge (not RL revenge folks).
Since that time, I have kept tabs on stew. At first it was just to watch my back (making sure that stew was not out to get me, like the big old boogie man), but then a friend of mine who was doing a thesis on people who bring RL rage and emotions into an MMORPG did an interview with me.
I found out that raging was normal, but at times it can get to be very bad for your mental well-being.
OK, getting back to stew. I still watched him, and usually I would contact or be in contact with his 'victims' to see what they wanted to do: get on with eve, or revenge on stew.
I would advise them to dust themselves off, and get on with eve.
You see, that is the point.....eve is the game of hard lessons with an unforgiving learning curve. For those of us who feel wronged or hurt, just look at the EULA terms and CCP rules and you will quickly find that the majority of the scams and pirating out there is not only ignored, but is an intrinsic part of the game.
Without pilots like stew, well, this would be WOW in space (and pretty crappy).
When you lose something in eve, it hurts, but as one of the former posters said - if you cannot afford to lose it, don't use it.
We all take hard knocks. I would have to say is take your lumps, get over it, and in the future, thank stew for teaching you a good eve-lesson.
And for crying out loud.....you were going to join the 172nd.....they are a null sec pvp PIRATING corp - anything goes in a pirate corp.
Cheers, and I hope you can dust yourself off and get on with the game.
Faide
I say you're Stew's alt.
